Assistant Resident Engineer

Our Construction Management (CM) Team is hiring an Assistant Resident Engineer!  The Assistant Resident Engineer (ARE) uses engineering judgment to evaluate project construction in compliance with the plans, specifications, and appropriate standards. The ARE is an authorized representative of the Resident Engineer, Senior Inspector, or appropriate Construction Manager, and can also represent the designated client contact.  In any case, they will exercise authority on a project-by-project basis to the extent delegated or assigned.  The Assistant Resident Engineer has full authority in matters of safety related to imminent hazard or danger on a project. The ARE is responsible to assist in various field and office construction engineering work, including but not limited to, inspection of non-structural and structural construction operations, inspection of traffic control system compliance, CPM scheduling analysis, and other areas as assigned.  Mark Thomas is a great place to start and grow your CM career – come join us!
