As an Animation Team Lead, you will actively participate in creating a portion of the required animations, while supporting the Project Lead (PL) or Production Manager (PM) in managing quality and meeting deadlines for your small team. You will collaborate on monitoring your team's work, coach team members, and validate production results, while maintaining a portion of game development under your responsibility (where applicable).

  • Create a portion of the required animation while contributing to the overall quality of animation;
  • Create, prioritize, assign, and track daily tasks and work progress for your team based on deliverables;
  • Represent the animation team in cross-disciplinary discussions and production tracking;
  • Organize and lead team meetings to align on objectives, progress, and challenges;
  • Familiarize yourself with the game's story, gameplay, and cinematics (game design documents) and master technical and/or artistic constraints to properly guide/coach your team;
  • Provide periodic progress reports to the PL/PM on your team's task completion and propose corrective measures when necessary to meet set objectives;
  • Anticipate and address potential conflict situations and suggest solutions to the PL/PM as part of problem-solving within your team;
  • Be a mentor at the technical and/or artistic level for your team members, where applicable;
  • Participate in performance reviews in collaboration with the PL/PM;
