United for a Fair Economy (UFE) is dedicated to advancing economic justice by challenging the concentration of wealth and power, perpetuating inequality. Founded to address racial and economic disparities, UFE believes systemic change is necessary for a fairer society. Our team, passionate about equity and social justice, works tirelessly to create a more balanced economy where everyone can thrive.

What we do

At UFE, we focus on policy advocacy, community organizing, and public education to promote progressive tax reform and economic policies that benefit marginalized communities. We support and coordinate the Tax Fairness Organizing Collaborative (TFOC), a network of state-level groups advocating for fair tax policies. Additionally, we engage in campaigns, such as the 4-day workweek initiative, to improve work-life balance and enhance the well-being of our staff and the communities we serve.
