Who we are: The Young Women's Movement is Scotland’s national organisation dedicated to advancing young women and girls’ leadership and rights. Founded in 1924, we have a long history of advocating for gender equality and social change. Our mission is to create safe spaces and offer educational resources that empower young people, ensuring they have a voice in shaping a fairer society.
Our team: Our diverse team is composed of approximately 38 employees who bring passion and commitment to the cause. We work collaboratively in a dynamic environment that encourages mentorship, peer-led campaigns, and innovative thinking. Every member of our team plays a key role in driving community programs, research, and advocacy efforts aimed at transforming societal narratives and policies for young women and girls.
