STOPAIDS is the network of UK agencies working since 1986 to secure an effective global response to HIV and AIDS (formerly known as the UK Consortium on AIDS and International Development). With 80 members behind us, we raise a united voice to rally and maintain the UK's leadership in the global response to HIV. Together with people living with HIV, we fight for a global response that respects, protects and fulfils human rights. We give decision-makers the proof – and the push – they need to make the right, smart choices to help improve the lives of the millions of people around the world needing HIV treatment, prevention, care and support. Who we are
STOP AIDS is a proud membership network with a 35-year legacy dedicated to advocacy on international development, HIV, and AIDS. Founded in 1986, we have built our identity on uniting UK civil society voices to influence policy and drive social change on a global scale. Our origins lie in a clear commitment to secure effective international responses that ensure health rights and equity for all.
Our team
Our team is a small but dedicated group of around 17 professionals based in London. Every team member brings expertise in policy, communications, and community engagement, working collaboratively to craft and deliver impactful campaigns. We believe in creating an inclusive work environment where open dialogue and cooperation lead to innovative advocacy. Through our focused efforts, we continue to punch above our weight in driving the global conversation on HIV and AIDS.
