About Quartet Community Foundation
What is Quartet Community Foundation?
Quartet Community Foundation is one of the leading independent grant-makers in the West of England, operating since 1986. Originally known as the Greater Bristol Foundation, Quartet became a registered charity in 2000 and has since grown to support hundreds of grassroots voluntary and community groups across Bristol, Bath and North East Somerset, North Somerset, and South Gloucestershire.
Each year Quartet awards around £5 million through grants to local organisations tackling disadvantage and strengthening communities. They connect generous people — individuals, families, and businesses — with the causes that matter most in their local area.
Where will I work?
Quartet is based at Royal Oak House, Royal Oak Avenue, Bristol BS1 4GB. The foundation operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 60% office presence, giving staff flexibility while maintaining strong team collaboration.
