About Intuit
What is Intuit?
Intuit is a leading American financial software company founded in 1983 by Scott Cook and Tom Proulx, headquartered in Mountain View, California. Intuit's mission is to "power prosperity around the world" — its product family includes TurboTax (consumer + small-business tax prep), QuickBooks (small-business accounting and payroll), Credit Karma (personal credit and finance), and Mailchimp (email marketing and small-business CRM).
Intuit serves more than 100 million customers globally, trades publicly on NASDAQ as INTU, and employs around 19,000 people across product, engineering, design, AI/ML research, support, sales, and a large seasonal tax-expert workforce.
Where will I work?
Intuit is hybrid-first, with major offices in Mountain View (HQ), San Diego, Plano (TX), Atlanta, New York, Washington DC, Tucson, and Toronto, plus international offices in Bangalore, Sydney, London, and Tel Aviv. Tax-expert roles are largely remote (US-based). Most product, engineering, and design roles support hybrid arrangements.
What is the Intuit team like?
Intuit invests heavily in design and customer-driven product development — its "Design for Delight" methodology is well-known. Engineering and AI/ML teams work on consumer financial products, generative-AI assistants (Intuit Assist), data-platform work, and core systems. The culture emphasises continuous experimentation, internal mobility, and well-being.
Work-Life Balance
The roles surfaced here are part-time positions at Intuit — employees work a reduced weekly schedule on a pro-rata basis. Intuit's standard week is 40 hours; part-time roles are typically 20-32 hours/week. A large share of part-time openings are seasonal tax-expert roles attached to TurboTax's busy season (January–April), but the listing also includes year-round part-time customer-care, recruiting, and corporate roles.
