Equal Measures 2030
A global feminist coalition driving data-driven advocacy for gender equality aligned with the SDGs.
Who we are
Equal Measures 2030 (EM2030) is a global coalition of feminist leaders, civil society, and international development organizations committed to holding governments accountable for achieving gender equality by 2030. Formed in 2016, EM2030 brings together advocates, activists, and data experts who use data and evidence to push for policy changes that benefit girls and women worldwide. Our work is focused on bridging the gap between data and advocacy, ensuring that decision-makers are held accountable for their commitments under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With teams across multiple countries, EM2030 operates on a local-to-global scale, united by a vision of a just and gender-equal world.
What we do
At EM2030, we provide tools, insights, and data-driven analysis that support feminist organizations' advocacy efforts. Our flagship initiative, the SDG Gender Index, is one of the world’s most comprehensive tools for tracking global progress on gender equality across 129 countries. We collaborate with grassroots organizations and leaders, offering them actionable data to strengthen their campaigns and hold decision-makers accountable. By leveraging data, we empower activists and advocates to push for urgent change in education, healthcare, and economic rights, ensuring no woman or girl is left behind.
