Relativity is seeking a User Experience Intern (UX) to help design simply powerful experiences for all our product offerings, including RelativityOne (our SaaS). This role reports to a Product Design Manager and will collaborate primarily with (but not limited to) Product Design, User Research, User Experience Engineering, Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing and Documentation teams.

We are looking for a highly motivated user advocate with a portfolio full of examples of applying your knowledge and ingenuity to solve software and workflow problems. You understand and can use the design thinking process across a wide range of tasks and projects, turning constraints and feedback into solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative and user-friendly products. You will have the opportunity to explore and contribute to different disciplines within UX based on your interests.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in and support product design and user research activities.
  • Depending on your interest you will assist in the design, research, or ux engineering of product and features.
  • Participate in critiques with other UX team members, project stakeholders, and decision makers to apply to projects, group and company initiatives.
  • Collaborate on projects with cross-functional team members, iterating on options to find and deliver the best solutions.
  • Own and participate in design ops projects to further design team best practices and tools.

Qualifications:

  • Current student, pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in user experience, design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related area of study.
  • Demonstrate a portfolio of work of solving UX design problems with intuitive interfaces.
  • Knowledge of interaction design and principles
  • Interests in using HTML, CSS and other UI technologies

Compensation:

  • Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.
  • This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus target of 0%, and long-term incentives. The expected salary range for this role is between $43,000 and $55,000. The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
