About the team

Mambu Functions gives Mambu customers more flexibility to have financial products tailored based on their local, regulatory or business needs. The “Mambu Functions” team is developing a capability that will allow customers to extend the functionality of Mambu’s banking platform. This capability will enable customers to run serverless code and to integrate with 3rd party systems.

What you’ll do

• Design and implementation of features along with required infrastructure, scaling, performance tuning and optimization.
• Own end to end delivered services from development to release in production.
• Work with microservices and the associated patterns (e.g., configuration as code, containers, CQRS, CDC).
• Build resilient distributed systems at scale, with strong operational and performance KPIs.
• Be part of self managed cross functional agile teams.

What you’ll bring

Your experience includes:

• +3 years experience (mid / senior position) working in Java
• Experience with relational databases
• Work with cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) and the associated architectural patterns (serverless computing, configuration as code, containers, Kubernetes, Terraform)
• Design patterns knowledge
• Rest API design practices
• Enterprise patterns ( i.e Asynchronous Communication, CQRS)
• Know-how of writing your own tests (i.e.: unit testing, integration tests, end-to-end tests and so on)
