About Auror

At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to reduce theft and Organized Retail Crime, a $150 billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organized in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.

Founded in New Zealand, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across Australasia, North America, and the UK.

Auror connects people with intelligence to reduce crime. As a company, we’ve built a high-performing, positive culture with a focus on providing an inclusive environment for a diverse team. If you’re excited about reducing crime and building safer communities, for everyone, then we want you on our team.

The Role

We are seeking a Sales Operations Manager to manage our sales processes to enable sales team productivity. If you are a systems-thinker who enjoys refining and implementing sales processes, this is the role for you. Auror is currently in hyper-growth, and in our next stage of growth, sales operations will become a vital function. This will be our first hire within Sales Operations so a great opportunity to come in and shape the future of this function. You will report to the Sr. Director - Retail Solutions and work alongside our Sales, Marketing and Partnerships teams to ensure we are performing as productively as possible.

To do this successfully, you will be:

  • Working with our sales leaders to oversee the sales funnel including movement, tracking conversion rates and help make data-driven decisions and recommendations for improving the sales funnel and process.
  • Track and analyze key metrics including pipeline growth and win/loss rates.
  • Streamlining and optimizing the Auror sales process and playbook.
  • Manage and support cross-functional initiatives serving as a liaison between Sales and Marketing. This includes working alongside the marketing team to build a lead qualification process.
  • Optimize lead qualification and scoring.
  • Selecting, implementing, and managing sales automation tools.
  • Managing CRM data - ensuring data is up to date, auditing for consistency, setting up automations and managing custom fields and data.
  • Perform sales forecasting and data analysis to understand team performance and what is required for growth. Build dashboards to track and monitor performance.
  • Partnering with Sales Leaders and finance to create and maintain sales forecasting models and data.
  • Provide operational support to the VP of Retail Solutions including assistance with weekly sales meetings.
  • Assist with training and onboarding new Sales team members.

This role reports to Kylene Jones, Sr. Director of Retail Solutions, North America

Over the past decade, I've worked globally (London, US, Australia and New Zealand) at start-ups and prior to that was a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, and PwC. I am a generalist at heart, and love working with high-performing teams (hungry, humble and smart) to solve problems that help the community. And we are doing exactly that here at Auror. I love working for a company that is mission focussed, is making a difference and truly keeps communities and individuals safer every day. I’m excited that we are building our Sales function in North America and am looking forward to bringing on team players who want to win. Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors, whether it’s hiking (US National parks are something else), skiing, surfing or swimming. I also love travelling with my husband and hosting friends at our place. You can check out my Linkedin profile here.

We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a SaaS Sales environment in a Sales Operations or Project Management role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and ideally ZoomInfo (nice to have).
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience organizing and driving complex, multi-functional projects.
  • A natural ability to identify process inefficiencies and propose and test new solutions.
  • A result and success oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure.
  • Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
  • Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in creating reports, optimizing processes and managing dashboards.
  • We are looking for people who demonstrate a strong alignment to our Guiding Principles (you can find these on our Careers page).
  • Competitive Salary Range: Depending on level of experience $115,000 - $139,000 (IC4) - Please note: this is not a commission based role
  • Employee share scheme: You’ll own part of a company making a real difference!
  • Flexibility: We are hard-working and outcome focused, but recognize there is more to life than work. We promote a healthy work/life blend.
  • Shorter work weeks (at full pay): Everyone gets Friday afternoons off, so you can start your weekend early, and do more of whatever it is that makes you happy.
  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision): Auror covers 100% of the cost of your health insurance plan with United Healthcare & Metlife.
  • Focus on mental and physical health: We understand how vital our health is and have policies to support your wellness, including: Wellness Days and up to three expert sessions paid for every year.
  • Family-friendly: We offer comprehensive parental leave and benefits for primary and non-primary caregivers, including a baby bonus and meals delivered to your door.
  • Personal growth: We support our team to participate in courses, conferences, or events that will help them develop their skills.
  • Team love: We have regular team lunches and social events where most (if not all) activities are during work hours.
  • Making an impact: You’ll work to solve interesting problems and help us keep communities safe.
