ABOUT THE ROLE

Procurify is looking for a top-performing Sales Manager who is passionate about coaching, mentoring, educating and developing teams to become A-players who exceed their quotas.

You go above and beyond and can leverage your own selling experience to help your team advance opportunities, develop and foster executive relationships, and present the unique value of Procurify to help close the deal!

We’re seeking entrepreneurial people who are willing to challenge the status quo and contribute to larger strategic objectives.

What you’ll be working on

  • Coaching and People Development:

No micromanagers wanted here! You’ll spend your time driving exponential growth through a team of badass AEs. You’ll deepen the team’s skills and abilities in negotiations, value and pricing positioning, product knowledge, self-generated pipeline, and more. You’ll tailor your 1:1s to connect, actively listen, and give meaningful feedback to hit quotas, and maximize time! You’ll leverage tools like Gong and Salesforce to efficiently forecast revenue and coach your team accordingly.

KPIs: Quota attainments meet/exceeded, pipeline achievement (inbound and outbound), team’s engagement scores, forecasting accuracy, and team mobility (increased skills, roles, or vertical specialization)

  • Cross-Functional Champion:

Alignment is paramount to win - even more so in a remote-first company in hyper-growth mode. You’ll ensure seamless alignment, transparency and advocacy for the Sales team. You’ll collaborate with all our GTM leaders and in particular Product Marketing, Marketing, and CX to maintain tight frameworks and feedback loops that keep all stakeholders looped in, and a  single source of truth perpetuated for all.

KPIs: Established feedback loops and action plans to close gaps, meeting or exceeding topline company metrics

  • Expansions Strategies:

Turning “like” into “love” - what better way to describe when customers deepen their commitment with us with their wallets?  You’ll work in tandem with the CX and Marketing teams to forge our future in expansions! Cultivate a slick and coordinated approach to engage with our customers and increase their contract value.

KPIs: Meet/exceed expansion team targets

  • Campaigns, Campaigns, Campaigns:

Pipeline generation is the lifeline of a Sales team - if you’re not saying “duh” then this might not be the role for you. We need you to dig deep into your ICP and market expertise and partner with Marketing to drive some “impossible to ignore” campaigns that fill our funnel to the brim. Your tenacity and creativity will be in full swing as you accelerate growth and become a market leader.

KPIs: Campaign execution, meet/exceed pipeline generation targets and conversions rates

Who we’re looking for

  • 4+ years as a Sales Manager with a tech/SaaS background selling a $25k-$50k ARR product or service (preferably in a Remote environment)
  • As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the hiring and onboarding of your team of AEs. The ability to hire accurately + correctly is a cornerstone of success in this role.
  • A large focus will be on mentoring individuals, driving performance, and helping grow team members through their career trajectories
  • A track record of hitting and exceeding pipeline + new sales quotas
  • Able to effectively coach and manage sales cycles with 3 or more stakeholders
  • Self-motivated and comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment
  • A relentless bias for documentation
  • Previous experience actively analyzing historical / retroactive data to quickly identify and implement necessary adjustments in an agile manner
  • Genuine customer empathy and a desire to be seen as a trusted advisor
  • Excellent written & verbal communication as well as listening skills
  • A sense of urgency and persistence
  • Experience or background in finance, accounting, procurement, supply chain management or start-up operations are all a plus

  • On Target Earnings Range: $160,000 - $200,000 CAD (This range is dependent on experience, with a component of these earnings made up of variable pay and not inclusive of any benefits or equity that might exist in your total compensation package.)
