The Role

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative to drive growth in our North America market. You will be focussed on selling our SaaS Retail Crime Intelligence Platform by developing new small and medium business prospects, and qualifying in-bounds and moving them through our sales process. You will report to the Sr. Director of Retail Solutions - North America, and work alongside our Sales, Marketing, Partnerships and Customer Success teams to grow our customer base.

To do this successfully, you will be:

  • Handling in-bound queries including lead qualification (25%) and undertaking outbound lead creation (75%).
  • Driving the entire sales process for small and medium-sized companies from prospecting through to opportunity development and deal closure, to post-sale kick-off with our Retail Partnerships and Customer Success team.
  • Generating interest in Auror in target accounts to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Defining and improving on our prospect messaging.
  • Collaborating with our Marketing, Partnerships and Customer Success Teams to ensure sales effectiveness as well as deliver an end-to-end, seamless customer experience from initial interaction to implementation.

Over the past decade, I've worked globally (London, US, Australia and New Zealand) at start-ups and prior to that was a Management Consultant at Boston Consulting Group, and PwC. I am a generalist at heart, and love working with high-performing teams (hungry, humble and smart) to solve problems that help the community. And we are doing exactly that here at Auror. I love working for a company that is mission focussed, is making a difference and truly keeps communities and individuals safer every day. I’m excited that we are building our Sales function in North America and am looking forward to bringing on team players who want to win. Outside of work, you’ll find me outdoors, whether it’s hiking (US National parks are something else), skiing, surfing or swimming. We’re looking for someone with the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Self-starter, proactive, organized and self-sufficient team player.
  • Customer-focused, creative, effective communicator in both written and verbal forms, and analytical by nature.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline.
  • Ability to learn a SaaS product and effectively communicate Auror’s value to potential customers.
  • Self-starter who’s eager to learn while being a core part of building our business.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Love working in a fast-paced environment, take the initiative to learn and try new things, and share your findings with the team so that we can all learn from one another.
  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Competitive Salary Range: Depending on level of experience $67,500 - $85,500 (IC2), plus commission
