Raisely helps nonprofits across the world bring their fundraising ideas to life. We’re a purpose-driven remote team, spread across 7 countries and 17 cities.

We’re looking for 2 Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to amplify our growth efforts by reaching new charities, nonprofits and agencies that improve the well-being of people and the planet through online fundraising. By joining our team, you’ll not only get to deepen your people and sales skills but save lives, save our climate, and support the most vulnerable people in our society.

About the role:

Your main goal is clear: to produce qualified demo meetings for our sales team. Your efforts will directly contribute to establishing Raisely as a leading all-in-one fundraising platform for nonprofits globally. By securing these meetings, you drive our growth towards surpassing $1 billion raised via our platform for the wellbeing of people and planet.

You’ll be supported to be and do your best by our Business Development Manager, and work closely with the Growth team, and the rest of our company. As the initial point of contact for our prospects, you will have the chance to establish the tone for their entire Raisely journey.

In this role, you will proactively reach out to inbound and outbound leads to raise awareness, generate interest, and book demo meetings for the Raisely sales team through phone calls, email sequences, and social outreach.

This role is full-time and permanent. You’ll be expected to do 5 days/38hrs a week while you’re getting up to speed, then within 3 months will be eligible to move to 4 days/30.4hrs as part of our 4 Day Work Week policy.


We can engage you as a contractor with equal terms.


Raisely is a remote company (we’ll help you set up your home office or chip in towards a coworking space) but we’re hiring for this role to be based in Canada.

What will you be doing?

Here are some things that you might tackle in your first few months. Importantly, we’ll be here to support you along the way.

  • Utilize various lists to find potential customers, then reach out to them using personalised email sequences and phone calls to see if they're interested in what Raisely offers.
  • Find, cultivate, and turn interested prospects from our current database into sales opportunities
  • Book demo meetings for Raisely’s sales team with sales-qualified leads.
  • Meticulously document your leads and generate reports in HubSpot our Growth CRM.
  • Attend an industry conference to network, stay updated on trends, and grow Raisely’s brand awareness in North America
  • Provide constructive feedback on how to improve the SDR role and sales processes

What we're looking for:

You ideally have at least 1 year experience in a sales or customer facing role.

You thrive on building relationships, know how to make connections, and can build relatedness quickly and confidently.

You have a history of meeting and exceeding targets.

Your dedication, persistence, and strategic approach in your past roles have enabled you to achieve and surpass goals.

You are an excellent communicator.

Your ability to build rapport, listen actively, and adapt your communication style to different audiences enables you to establish meaningful connections and drive successful outcomes.

You have strong digital skills.

You're comfortable navigating various digital channels to engage prospects and have experience using email, phone, and CRM software.

💵 Salary – We benchmark salaries based on similar roles in market. $93,400K CAD OTE.

4 Day Week & Flexible Hours – Working here is about getting your work done, not clocking hours. You’ll be eligible to work a 4 Day Week at full pay once you’re past onboarding. We’ll work with you to figure out hours that work with you, and we’re flexible when life gets in the way.
