Project Engineer, Supply Chain

As a key team player, you will be responsible for enhancing projects related to unit cost, efficiency, lead time, and productivity across our supply chain. Your base will be at our office in Guangzhou.

Key responsibilities

Working closely with your colleagues in the Product Development team, you will be involved in the sampling process and pilot run, identifying quality risks in production in advance. You'll collaborate with the Product Development team until mass production, ensuring compliance with both external and internal standards for 3C accessory products. Additionally, your responsibilities will include:

• Identify opportunities in production and propose improvements to upgrade the automation level of production operations.
• Initiate sustainable projects aimed at optimizing and eliminating manual operations to reduce labor.
• Assist management in identifying opportunities and solutions for sustainable improvements.
• Proactively identify risks in suppliers' production progress, take pre-emptive actions, and resolve issues.
• Conduct performance assessments of suppliers and support them in improving their quality management level.
• Undertake other assignments as delegated by the line manager.

Your profile

In terms of qualifications, we are seeking an individual with a degree in industrial engineering or mechanical design. We expect you to have experience in project management, as well as in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or quality engineering in 3C industrial or manufacturing settings. Your PC skills, particularly in PowerPoint and Excel, are proficient.

The role will involve travel, so willingness and flexibility are essential qualities.

Your approach should be process and detail oriented. Your proactive attitude and curiosity will drive you to constantly seek ways to improve and optimize processes, making you an integral part of our team. Prioritization and follow-up skills are crucial, given the collaborative nature of your work with various stakeholders.

Additionally, fluency in English written and spoken and in Mandarin spoken is required.
