About the role
Are you a dynamic and creative communicator who loves crafting compelling messages that make an impact and change things for the better?We are looking for a passionate, driven person to join our internal communications team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality communications, advising senior stakeholders and colleagues on internal and external communications matters and supporting the development and implementation of communication plans.
About the role (External)
What does the average day look like?
You’ll develop and deliver internal communications to deadlines with the appropriate tone, language, content and house-style to keep colleagues informed and help them to understand and act on business priorities. You’ll also develop and manage communications projects using data and insight tailored to target audiences so we can increase employee engagement, trust and understanding.
In this role, collaboration is key, and you'll work closely with our talented communications team to create standards, guides, and best practices – all aimed at delivering seamless and meaningful messages that resonate with everyone across our organization. Your project management skills will be put to use, helping you achieve goals, manage budgets, deliverables, and metrics with ease.
You'll have the opportunity to measure the effectiveness of our core internal communications channels, reporting on their performance and using this knowledge to continuously improve how we communicate. Being the supportive colleague that you are, you'll also provide training on key channels, ensuring everyone is equipped to stay connected.
You’ll help us maintain clear and inclusive communication guidelines, making sure that our colleagues always have the latest and most relevant information when they need it and how they want it.

What essential skills and experiences are required?
Essential:
·Excellent written communications skills
·Up-to-date knowledge of modern communication methodologies
·Comprehensive knowledge of research, insight and evaluation
·Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
·Solid digital skills – proven ability to use, and influence others to try new channels and tools
·Ability to take complex information and create clear messages relevant to the audience
·Excellent organisation, planning and management skills
·Ability to create strategic campaign plans and processes

These roles are based at The Quadrant, Milton Keynes, where you’ll be expected to work for at least two days a week. There is the opportunity for regular travel to other locations in the UK too.
