How You Will Make An Impact

We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategically minded Senior Financial Analyst to join our FP&Ateam. As a Financial Analyst at thredUP, your responsibilities include assisting with financialplanning and budgeting processes, analyzing financial statements and reports, developingfinancial models, preparing projections, and performing research and analysis as may berequired by leadership. You will also be responsible for providing project teams & internalbusiness partners with financial guidance and assisting with monthly close processes.

To be successful as a Senior Financial Analyst at thredUP, you are able to perform a variety of financialactivities including planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting. You also have strong analytical,organizational, and problem-solving skills and are able to present financial information andmodels in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.

In This Role You’ll Get To:

  • Responsible for Aftermarket and 3rd Party revenue forecast modeling and reportingto predict and explain business performance
  • Support Total Company Consolidations and Board/Executive/All Hands Presentations partnering with the entire FP&A Org
  • Partner with the Revenue Team to understand and align businesstrends into revenue forecast
  • Support revenue performance analysis and adhoc requests
  • Provide insights into the forecast and the key drivers of performance in order to supportbusiness decision making
  • Work cross functionally with marketing and accounting to forecast the budget and understand variances
  • Track KPIs and prepare financial reports for your areas, helping to explain their impacton total company P&L
  • Develop financial projections and build financial models and maintain existing ones likeContribution Margin
  • Perform research and analysis as required

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with marketing forecasting a plus
  • Advanced modeling and analytical skills
  • BS/BA in finance, statistics or other quantitative field
  • Mastery of excel or google sheets
  • Proficiency in BI tools (looker) a plus
  • Experience with Planful a plus
  • Ability to connect the dots between strategies, think bigger and challenge the status quo
  • Self-starter and ability to take end-to-end ownership of projects
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, comfortable in a fast-paced data-driven business environment with the ability to multitask
  • Proven ability to prioritize effectively, achieve commitments and deliver results

At thredUP, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays between $117,000 and $135,000, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Many thredUP employees also have the opportunity to own shares of thredUP stock. thredUP employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, as well as a discount when purchasing thredUP stock if voluntarily participating in thredUP’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Subject to eligibility requirements, you’ll also receive other benefits: Comprehensive medical & dental coverage, vision, 401k, life and disability insurance.

This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
