Oracle Application Server Engineer (Remote)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle Application Server Engineer to join our team. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for deploying and supporting enterprise-level production and pre-production applications. Your expertise in Oracle technologies, particularly the Oracle Application Server and Oracle Internet Directory (OID), will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Administer Enterprise Applications across the organization, including configuration, monitoring, and security of both commercial and custom-developed applications.
- Orchestrate and automate batch processing to optimize application performance.
- Support line of business and third-party application deployments, updates, and upgrades.
- Collaborate with business partners and external vendors to identify requirements for new applications.
- Configure, maintain, and monitor application integrations, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Manage security requests and oversee periodic security access reviews for critical business and financial systems.
- Monitor application performance and connectivity, tuning and adjusting environments as needed.
- Configure and support authentication methods and single sign-on (SSO) for application access control.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle Application Server administration.
- Proficiency in Oracle Internet Directory (OID) setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Experience with Web services and application integrations.
- DoD Secret Clearance or higher is required.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
