Pay: $125-$125 per student, depending on how many students enrolled in class (Pay range may vary based on geographic location, in addition to how pay is calculated)

Description:

Columbia College Online Education is accepting applications for adjunct (part-time) instructors to meet our changing needs. After completing the application process, the candidate's application will be considered active for two years. Qualified applicants will be contacted if an opening in their respective fields becomes available. After two years, candidates may reapply to update their application and restate their interest.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications to teach undergraduate courses include an MA in Global Studies, International Relations, or International Studies; or MA in Sociology or Political Science, if candidate has at least nine hours of coursework in international or global topics, including specific coursework related to conflict and war, human rights, and/or global economics. Courses to be taught may include:  Human Rights, Global Political Economy, and/or Conflict, War, and Peace, among others. Higher education teaching experience and interest in developing courses is highly desired. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
