Marketing Activations Intern

Insomnia Cookies is on a journey to become the most imaginative sweet indulgence brand in the world. As we grow our company and community of Insomniacs, we actively interviewing candidates for our Summer 2024 Internship program!

Position overview:

The selected Marketing Activations Intern will be responsible for applying their skills, education, and knowledge base to help the Insomnia Cookies Marketing department move projects along.  This internship will learning and participating in Marketing Activations initiatives and how they impact our Insomniacs.

Position Goals & Accomplishments

• Aid in strategy and promotion development for back to school campus marketing initiatives
• Manage and support multiple organizational based projects across multiple teams, including: local store activations, events, PR, digital and other marketing channels
• Help build out and maintain new social influencer, student influencer and ambassador programs
• Brainstorm ways to engage with our core demographic and bring your ideas to life with support from the broader marketing team
• Assist with updating and creating spreadsheets of key community contacts and academic dates
• Assist with campaign success tracking and recapping of promotions
• Develop local marketing programs to be utilized in the field
• Support the local marketing team with new store openings and grand opening prep
• Act as a passionate advocate for Insomnia Cookies and attend local events as needed

Required Education & Experience

• Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Communications or to a related field
• Must have availability up to work 3 days in office
• An innate curiosity and desire to learn
• Relevant work experience in marketing, graphic design, social media, PR, event/experiential marketing or communications
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Strong written and oral communications skills
• Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office products & remote meeting software (Slack, Teams, etc.)
• Being a cookie connoisseur is a plus!
