Lead Developer

This job offers the opportunity to lead the direction of the developers in guiding the application team in design, coding and testing, researching and analyzing developments.

You’ll be excited to take our brand to the next level being comfortable with constantly monitoring the project life cycle to manage the costs and schedule of the lead projects. You’ll be someone passionate about leading and seeing a project through to the end result with big attention to detail.

What you'll bring:

• Experience with cross platform mobile application frameworks using Flutter or React Native
• Exposure to Next.js or any React.js framework
• Experience working with MongoDB
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant fields
• REST APIs written in Typescript/Express and Python/Flask
• Google Cloud Platform, particularly Cloud Run
• Firebase including Authentication, Cloud Functions and Firestore

Preferred but not required experience in:

• Experience working with Social networks and/or in ecommerce
• Any previous experience with machine learning

What you'll be doing:

• Designing, building, and configuring applications to meet business process and application requirements
• Directing the development team in the design, development, coding, testing, and debugging of applications
• Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determining software quality standards
• Have agile working methodologies
• Produce Project Management with Jira
• Version control using git and github
• Code quality monitoring via continuous integration pipelines
• Have commitment to writing clean and testable code that is underpinned by high coverage unit tests. As well as writing testable, scalable, and efficient code and leading code reviews
