IT Application Specialist

The role

No day is ever the same, but here’s an insight into what you can expect!

• Serve as a point of contact for system-related queries & new developments of our ERP (NetSuite) and business planning & analysis systems, particularly supporting the Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams, ensuring smooth system functionality for all users and continuous roadmap of improvements.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot system issues, collaborating with the IT Operations team to provide timely resolutions to minimise disruption to business operations.
• Assist in managing & integrating data within the ERP and planning systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity, and helping generate reports and insights for business decision-making.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades, participating in project teams for the rollout of new features or improvements.
• Assist in creating and maintaining system documentation and training materials, providing training and guidance to users for efficient system use.
• Work closely with external partners and vendors, such as software providers, to ensure effective system integrations and collaborations that align with business needs.
• Regularly review and align system functionalities with the company’s strategic goals, suggesting improvements or changes to enhance efficiency and support growth.
• Work with our Information Security team to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in all system processes and assist in maintaining system security to protect company data and intellectual property.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in ERP and business planning systems, actively seeking opportunities for professional development.

What we're looking for in you

• Proficient in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, with a focus on their integration into business operations. Strong skills in business planning and analysis tools are essential for data-driven decision-making
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Anaplan (a bonus!), and Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycles is highly beneficial
• Experience with managing and troubleshooting SaaS applications and understanding their integration with business processes.
• Skills in managing, integrating, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within systems.
• Aptitude for identifying problems and developing effective solutions.
• Proficiency in clearly and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in working collaboratively in a team setting, including liaising with external partners and vendors.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in a dynamic work environment.
• Awareness of information security principles and data protection practices.
• Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain detailed documentation.
