About the Role:
Senior Consultants will participate in the client delivery of a values-based small team entrepreneurial consulting practice.
Senior Consultants are self-motivated individuals who are experts at providing client support while demonstrating knowledge of sustainability reporting. Your responsibilities include assisting with sustainability reporting using established processes, and ensuring consistent, high quality service delivery to clients in a cost-effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Assist with performing top-level materiality analyses for sustainability reporting disclosures
- Deliver sustainability reports to clients using our established process
- Prepare and review sustainability reports for messaging and alignment with client’s strategy, including accuracy and completeness; conducting discussions with clients about status and results of work performed; following work plans; ensuring assignments are carried out within scope; drafting footnotes and other narrative for inclusion in sustainability reports; communicate issues to team project lead as they arise
- Work remotely with clients to gather data from various systems to summarize in disclosures for sustainability reports
- Develop expertise in sustainability reporting practices for stand-alone sustainability reports and integrated reporting in SEC filings or other client financial reports
- Track and manage time spent on the project and adhere to budget throughout each engagement
- Resolve client queries and ensure client satisfaction remains at high levels
- Lead the career development of self and others by managing, coaching, attracting, and retaining high performing talent
- Remain up to date with latest industry trends
- Utilize business, financial reporting, and analytical skills to provide recommendations that accelerate clients’ sustainability reporting practices and strategy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Sustainability or equivalent
- CPA or MBA preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Public Accounting or Consulting, 5 to 25 years total experience
- SEC reporting experience – Big 4 and industry mix experience preferred
- Excellent project management skills
- Sustainability reporting experience preferred but not required
- FSA Credential issued by SASB desired, but not required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to communicate cooperatively and constructively with team members and clients in a remote work environment using applications such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom
- Advanced user of Microsoft 365 applications
