The Role
As the US Client & Strategy Partner/Director your role will be greatly varied. Alongside having responsibility for the overall digital success of our US clients, you will also work with Impression’s Global Leadership Team to launch and scale the US business.
You will be an entrepreneur at heart with a passion for thinking strategically. You will be capable of switching from client-side responsibilities to managing and growing an agency in the US through Sales, Marketing and Account Growth strategies.
Your success will be measured by the success of our clients performance and both the growth and profitability of Impression’s US P&L.
Salary: up to $150,000 DOE
In this role, you will:
Be the role model leader for establishing the Impression culture into the US office, living the Impression values and behaviours
Lead on the growth of Impression’s US business. Delivering the strategic digital vision to our portfolio of accounts that advertise in the US.
Have accountability for the US financial performance against targets. You will Shape our US marketing strategy, lead on our key pitch opportunities and speak regularly at various industry events and conferences, working with Impression’s sales team to drum up new opportunities.
Inspire and lead the individuals and teams within the agency to get the best outcomes for both the agency and Impression’s clients.
Play a key role in the evolution of Impression’s wider service offering. Working with the Senior Management Team and Impression’s Global Leadership team to ensure the US business can maintain a competitive product proposition.
Grow your personal profile and that of the agency through regular contributions to Impression’s own marketing, specifically through speaking, thought-leadership content and championing work internally and externally.
Work with Impression’s Client Success Director and the Client Success team to ensure all US accounts receive the same high standard of service that Impressin is known for. Adopt and adapt relevant client centric initiatives into the US business and ensure we achieve our Account Growth, Account Retention and Account Profitability targets.
Be commercially astute, working with Impression’s CS teams to ensure we maintain a strong contractual position with our US clients and we achieve our targeted renewal rates each year
Work with Impression’s UK Divisional Departments and the Global Performance Director to ensure work is effectively reallocated where appropriate to the UK delivery teams. Working then with Impressions Operations and Finance teams to ensure our global operations run smoothly and profitably.
Be an executive sponsor to our key accounts in the US. Build strategic partnerships with senior stakeholders to help move up us up the strategic relationship ladder and successful introduce Impression’s full service offering to support our client’s growth ambition.
Support Impression’s leadership team to operate and run a business in the US that is compliant to all local laws and regulations
Requirements:
An entrepreneurial background or a hunger to start and grow something yourself.
A proven track record of successfully growing large domestic and global brands predominantly through effective integrated digital strategies, covering the full spectrum of brand and performance.
A genuine passion for nurturing talent, you are adept at recruiting, coaching and mentoring, with a history of inspiring both individuals and entire departments.
Very good knowledge of the appropriateness and effectiveness of Impression’s full suite of digital marketing activities listed above.
Exceptional enterprise level client management skills, giving great experiences that delight, without compromising on doing what is right for the brand.
Experience making commercial decisions in order to achieve both departmental and company wide financial goals, including ownership of revenue growth and profitability.
Demonstrable experience building your own personal profile, through thought-leadership content and/or public speaking.
An expert in Pitch strategy and leading pitch teams with a proven track record of winning accounts with annual billings of over $500k.
Experience in shaping and influencing both marketing and sales strategies to ensure growth objectives can be met.
Nice to have:
Experience of setting up and running a US business, including accountability for compliance across legal and employment criteria.
Experience working within a Senior Management Team of a business, driving change through all levels through collaborative working and effective decision-making.
