Position Title: Career Development Mentor - IC/Semiconductor Field (Part-Time)

Work Location: Flexible Office (Remote/Online)

Salary Range: $100-$200 per hour

Job Description:

As a pioneer committed to integrating technology with education, Uoffer is looking for a passionate Career Development Mentor to join our IC/Semiconductor direction team. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for coaching our students in areas related to career development, such as interview preparation and resume revision, helping them successfully enter or advance in the semiconductor/chip industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching with students, including but not limited to interview technique training, resume and cover letter writing, and editing.
  • Provide customized career planning advice based on the students' backgrounds and target industries.
  • Use personal expertise and experience to help students understand the latest trends and technological developments in the semiconductor industry.
  • Regularly organize workshops and lectures to share industry insights and career development strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Photonics, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Optics, Physics, Material Science, or related engineering disciplines.
  • At least 6 months of practical experience in Python, MS Office, Power BI, or statistical analysis.
  • Practical experience in semiconductor engineering, manufacturing, or development, with proven ability in experimental design (DOE) techniques.
  • Excellent communication and teaching skills, able to flexibly meet the needs of different students.
  • A deep understanding and passion for the semiconductor industry, willing to share experiences and knowledge with students.

Working Hours: Flexible office hours, coordinated according to the needs of the students and availability of the mentor.
