As an Account Executive, you will be:

  • Developing media relations materials such as pitches, media lists, press releases and other related documents
  • Managing materials for client and internal meetings such as agendas, notes, meeting recaps and next steps
  • Managing the delivery and development of coverage reports, monthly recaps, and any other performance measurement initiatives
  • Communicating with clients directly including sharing status updates, proactively flagging coverage, and sending next steps
  • Staying up-to-date with current news and industry trends, sharing the latest internally and externally
  • Delegating tasks to junior team members, helping them develop their skills while managing up to account leads to ensure the daily account functions are running smoothly
  • Coordinating with other departments for creative, production, reporting, and administration needs with oversight from team leadership

Experience you have:

  • You have about 2-3 years of experience in public relations, communications, and/or client service in a related field in an agency environment.
  • You’ve worked with media ranging from pitching to events for multiple projects or accounts.
  • You’ve worked on multiple account teams at once and interacted with and have experience communicating with clients.
  • You know your way around tools such as Cision, Muck Rack, social platforms and Google tools.

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 (The actual compensation amount paid may vary and will be determined based on factors including the applicant's experience, expertise, skills and abilities.)
