About the function…

The Finance Strategy & Development team sits in the Group Finance function within the Chief Financial Officer’s world. Our team delivers people and Learning & Development (L&D) related initiatives for the finance community.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our finance strategy & development team who work closely with all of our finance community. Our team is very friendly and we support each other in all aspects of our roles. You will be working closely with the Finance New Entrants Project Manager and Project Leader to provide general administrative support to the team as well as pastoral support to the finance new entrants (Graduates, Apprentices, and placement students). You will be supported and guided as you create your own personal development plan as well as having opportunities to be involved with different people related initiatives including Learning & Development, Diversity & Inclusion and finance new entrant schemes.

The new entrants management team is responsible for the development and management of the finance new entrant schemes. As Project Management Assistant (Change), you will be working as an Apprentice & Graduate Programmes Planner. You will be managing and coordinating the administrative arrangements for finance new entrants, working alongside various partners to effectively support finance apprentices, graduates, and placement students.

🔹 Knowledge of safeguarding principles who can provide pastoral support to our new entrants.

🔹 Successful experience of supporting the delivery of learning and development initiatives and projects, particularly apprentice or graduate programmes.

🌟**What's the Average Day Like?**🌟

As a Project Management Assistant (Change) for the finance new entrants team, you'll dive into a world of exciting challenges and opportunities. Your day-to-day tasks include the following:

🔹 Assisting our Finance New Entrants Project Management team in delivering graduate, apprentice and placement schemes on time, within budget, and with top-notch quality in a safe and secure manner.

🔹 Being the go-to person for managing the administrative arrangements for new entrant schemes across finance to enhance the apprentice, graduate and placement experience.

You'll ensure that information flows seamlessly to internal and external partners.

🔹 Using our advanced reporting systems and guidelines, you'll be the project progress guru, keeping everyone in the loop. You will be coordinating and providing recruitment and onboarding support for new entrants, working closely with internal and external partners.

🔹 Creating and maintaining new entrant schemes documentation, feedback and progress reports, in line with our finance scheme guidelines.

🔹 Rolling up your sleeves and participating in projects when needed – your input is invaluable!

What essential skills and experiences are required?

The successful candidate for this role will be required to be/have: -

1.Educated to HND/HNC level, relevant project or administration experience

2.Ability to organise and prioritise own workload to meet deadlines

3.Strong organisation skills

4.Good communication skills (verbal and written)

5.Computer literate (Word, Excel, PPT)

Location: This role is based at TheQuadrant:MK. For roles based in the Quadrant:MK, you must live within 75/90 minutes of The Quadrant.
