Position Summary

As our Website Project Manager (eCommerce Operations), you’ll play a key role in shaping our online presence, optimizing digital platforms, and driving business growth. Leveraging your project management skills, you'll oversee Magento/Adobe Commerce, WordPress, and other key technologies to enhance the customer experience, implement innovative marketing strategies, and boost engagement across our eCommerce platforms.

Responsibilities and Expertise

  • Lead eCommerce strategy across Magento/Adobe Commerce, WordPress, Kajabi, and other platforms to maximize performance and conversions.
  • Collaborate with developers by creating technical specifications to enhance and maintain our websites.
  • Drive multi-channel marketing campaigns, including promotions, flash sales, and digital advertising initiatives.
  • Expand our digital footprint by integrating new websites and brands into our technology ecosystem.
  • Ensure website security and performance through daily maintenance, WordPress updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Manage project workflows, including writing Statements of Work (SOWs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and project plans for web and marketing initiatives.
  • Optimize website engagement by tracking conversion rates, customer behavior, and traffic trends—then using data-driven insights to improve performance.
  • Develop compelling content and oversee metadata, branding, and marketing materials to align with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with web security, GDPR, and CCPA regulations while managing key operational processes like payment processing and inventory.
  • Evaluate and implement third-party tools to improve site functionality and user experience.
  • Utilize AI-driven tools to streamline content creation, enhance analytics, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of digital trends by researching emerging technologies, conducting competitor analysis, and applying industry best practices.
  • Lead SEO marketing efforts to boost organic traffic and site visibility.
  • Oversee website projects from planning to execution, ensuring smooth and timely delivery.
  • Adapt to the evolving digital landscape and contribute to new projects that drive innovation and business growth.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and present technical concepts.
  • Experience managing external vendors and overseeing business-critical projects.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and Magento/Adobe Commerce (or similar eCommerce platforms).
  • Strong understanding of web development, backend administration tools, and database-driven websites.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX optimization and customer journey mapping.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide QA support for web fixes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, and digital project management tools (e.g., Asana, Slack, Zoom, Box.com).
  • Team-oriented mindset with a consultative approach to working with cross-functional teams.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, eCommerce, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in eCommerce management, online marketing, or project management.
  • Experience managing large-scale web and marketing projects within budget and strict timelines.
  • Previous experience working in a digital-first organization, preferably within publishing, media, or consumer goods industries
