Website Designer and Developer

About the Role:

Our agency is seeking a creative and tech-savvy Website Designer and Developer to create visually compelling and intuitive websites for our clients. In this role, you will take the lead in the design and development process, working closely with other teams to deliver integrated marketing campaigns that elevate our clients' digital presence.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with our team to understand client objectives and design requirements.
• Design and build aesthetically appealing, user-friendly websites that effectively incorporate client branding and meet their objectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in website platforms and design.
• Develop graphics for product illustrations, logos, and websites to ensure a consistent visual appeal.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Ensure websites are optimised for speed, scalability, and conversion, aligning with best practices for user experience and digital marketing.

Qualifications:

• Proven work experience as a website designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
• Proficiency in designing on platforms such as Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix.
• Basic knowledge of coding languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP is preferred but not necessary.
• Excellent visual design skills with a focus on user-system interaction.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
