Web Developer

Job Description

As a Freelance Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining websites for clients on a project basis. You will collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, propose solutions, and deliver high-quality, customized websites that meet their needs. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and effective communication skills.

In this role you’ll get to:

• Create best-in-class websites on a number of platforms with a particular focus on WordPress, HubSpot, and Shopify
• Write custom HTML, PHP, CSS and JavaScript for existing websites and applications
• Update and edit website content, posts and pages
• Design, recommend and pitch improvements to new and existing features
• Assist in troubleshooting issues on web-based systems
• Provide technical support related to web-based systems
• Develop website strategies and recommendations
• Test and give feedback on new and existing technologies
• Create prototypes and experiment with new technologies and features as assigned
• Monitor, optimize, and update websites and web-based systems
• Manage projects and coordinate on multidisciplinary project teams
• Serve as an implementer for clients, managing their experience and supporting them to achieve their goals with their web-based systems
• Work with project teams to understand business goals and identify customer needs
• Grow in web-based expertise
• Other tasks as assigned

BONUS POINTS:

• Experience working in WordPress, HubSpot CMS, and/or Slate Technolutions
• 3+ years of experience with web development and web-based technologies
• Experience with ClickUp, Slack, and GSuite
• Client-facing and account management experience
• Required: U.S. Eastern time zone availability
