Description:

We’re looking for a Web Designer/Developer to join our media marketing agency!

With amazing design skills, you will play a vital role in the management, strategy, UX, design, and development phases . This is a role fora qualified, experienced Designer/ Web Developer  to join our team. This person will use their knowledge to design, create, implement, and maintain web pages, landing pages, plug-ins and such. They typically collaborate with Project Managers to build and connect funnel pages + campaigns in WordPress as well as webflow, squarespace and wix . Someone in this role has strong problem-solving skills, allowing them to find solutions for systems and marketing funnels.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating custom WordPress landing pages and websites,
  • Integrate third-party APIs into WordPress
  • Develop and customize WordPress themes and plugins
  • Editing and customising existing WordPress themes to suit various specifications
  • Understands best coding practices for HTML/CSS and WordPress
  • Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed
  • Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application
  • Design and develop web pages, graphics, and multimedia; utilize storyboarding and graphic pre designs where appropriate
  • Effectively deploy code to production environments to ensure high quality service
  • Communicate with the internal team driving scope initiatives and ensuring timely delivery
  • Leverage technical knowledge and creativity to find business opportunities within the company
  • Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience using WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace and Wix
  • 3+ years of experience working as a web designer/developer
  • 3+ years of experience working with WordPress
  • Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Desire to learn, improve, grow and find innovative solutions
  • Portfolio of previous projects
  • Understanding of web hosting and domain setup
