VFX ARTIST

Reports to: Lead VFX Artist

Permanent – Full-Time

What you will do

  • Create a variety of VFX, rangingfromphysicalattacks, environmental, cinematographic, reactions (footsteps, impacts, damage communication, etc.);
  • Capable of doingboth R&D and hands-on support for the team in the various phases of gameproduction;
  • Use all the tools at yourdisposal to createeffects for the game (traditionalparticles, pixel shaders and vertex shaders for animatedmaterials, etc.);
  • Analyze the scene for performance issues and ensurethat all effects are built as efficiently as possible.

What you bring

  • 4+ yearsexperience as a VFX Artist;
  • Experience in AAA gameproduction;
  • Ability to deconstructcomplexvisualeffectsfromreferences and recreatethem in a gameengine;
  • A criticaleye for the rhythm, animation and movement of visualeffects;
  • Ability to collaboratewithartists, designers and programmers to meetartistic and technicalchallenges;
  • Good knowledge of Unreal;
  • Commitment to overallteamsuccess (game/franchise success);
  • Autonomous and pro-active; able to go beyond expectations, findviable solutions to complexproblems;
  • Integrated, making the best possible decisions in the interests of the project;
  • Motivated, pro-active, positive at all times;
  • Good communicator, able to shareknowledgewithteammembers.

Even better if you have

  • Knowledge of Houdini;
  • Experience in creating and customizingshaders.
