Job description

Work for a company that cares about the humans behind the tech.

At Riverr, we believe in the ability to use digital to reshape the world for good, and we

support our staff in their pursuit of that goal as they create innovative solutions that our

clients love.

Part of the LAB Group of agencies, we believe you should love what you do and do what you

love, so if you are looking for a company that is as invested in your development as you are,

then join us on our exciting mission, to apply our understanding of human behaviour to

developing innovative, creative digital solutions that will reshape the digital world.

The Riverr team represents the technical engine at the heart of a rapidly-growing agency group obsessed with human behaviour, creativity, technology and communication.

Our award-winning team of specialists enjoy the benefits of:-

  • Flexible working options (a 4-day working week)
  • Remote working for that ultimate work/life balance
  • Group Medical Aid with Vitality
  • A day off for your birthday
  • An annual training budget to invest in your personal development
  • Experienced colleagues who have worked at the pinnacle of their craft

The Role

We need your curious and creative mindset, and we’re currently looking for a talented user experience designer to join our team.

Working under the supervision of the Experience Lead, you’ll be part of an enthusiastic, creative, team who are not afraid to push boundaries and get out of their comfort zones. If you love all things digital, have a passion for creating beautiful designs that are centred around user needs, then this could be the role for you.

The right candidate will be able to use design thinking methods to collaboratively (and with support) develop user journeys, wireframes and hi-fi designs working iteratively in an agile workflow. Be passionate about creating simple design solutions, nerdy about design systems

and have some understanding of accessibility.

About You

You have a maker mindset: you are creative and love working with creative people.

You are not afraid to get out of your comfort zone, fail and learn, share what you learn, and

always be curious about better ways and new technology!"

You are a problem solver and an innovator. In your pursuit of perfectly polished solutions,

you aren’t afraid to speak up about new ideas so that as a team we deliver what is best for

our clients and the project.

You jump in with both feet. You’re courageous. You ask questions and communicate what

you think.

For you, it’s not about resources, it’s about resourcefulness. You have the initiative, energy

and drive to make things happen.

You’re obsessive about all aspects of design, fixated on the smaller details as well as the

bigger picture of your work, and are ambitious and driven.
