Underwriter Cyber (m/f/d)
to help us achieve our objective. Our goal is to help companies succeed in an increasingly complex world.
Your Tasks
- Actively support the successful achievement of our objectives in new business and renewal business while adhering to our underwriting standards, work instructions and processes
- Coordinate and manage international large accounts
- Systematically record and assess risks with the required accuracy and participate in pricing and proposal preparation
- Maintain and analyse the portfolio using existing IT systems
- Support internal planning processes, e.g. through project work
- Prepare risk peer-reviews to promote and develop line-specific expertise
- Build and maintain close relationships with our business partners and colleagues within QBE
- Contribute to market and competitor monitoring and to the development of sales strategies and marketing activities
Your Qualifications
- Completed training as an insurance clerk for insurance and finance or insurance specialist and/or a degree in economics
- Additional experience in Financial Lines is an advantage but not essential
- Independent and team-oriented working style and willingness to take responsibility, sometimes beyond the immediate remit
- You are familiar with MS Office, especially Excel
- Affinity for IT systems and processes; ability to integrate into and follow existing processes
- Good English skills and comfortable with intercultural exchange
- Strong analytical skills
- Ideally very good interpersonal skills and the ability to reach consensus and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
