UI Gameplay Engineers impact our team by creating sleek, intuitive, responsive UIs that our players love!

As a UI Gameplay Engineer at Timbre Games, you:

  • Collaborate closely with our UI/UX Designer to build UI systems for our games
  • Maintain and develop supporting UI features for the game and the tools that go with it
  • Collaborate with team members of various disciplines to review proposed features and develop those features from definition to testing
  • Write beautiful C++ code that is clean, clear, performant and aligns to coding best practices
  • Support our studio culture and values by mentoring other programmers on best practices and learnings

Your Track Record Might Include:

  • Ability to gather and organize feedback to rapidly prototype and iterate ideas through to production
  • A solid understanding of best practices in UI development
  • Experience working with Slate in Unreal Engine
  • Experience using UE5 UI workflows and plugins is a plus
  • Experience with data structures, game logic and algorithms
  • A demonstrated passion and curiosity for optimizing UI systems
