You will support the Trading team in their exploration of commercial trading opportunities to generate increased P&L. In this support function you will cover analysis, pricing, market entry requirements and ad-hoc operational support.

How will I spend my time in this role?

  • Support the Trading team by providing insightful analysis of energy market fundamentals to inform trading strategy and increase P&L;
  • Provision of bespoke analysis to trading group as requested;
  • Look at ways to improve trading processes with automation;
  • Provide Pricing support to the Trading Team across a wide variety of standard and non-standard products to enable the traders to focus on execution;
  • Provide support and functional back-up to Prompt Trader.

What skills/experience do I need to be successful?

  • Gained an in-depth understanding of the Supply and Demand fundamentals driving UK Power and/or European Gas markets;
  • Short term power fundamental knowledge and execution ability;
  • Knowledge of UK power auctions and position management.

Our 4 day week = any day off

Our Vacation Policy

We offer 25 days PTO for a full-time 5 day week plus public holidays. Our vacation policy is pro-rata'd based on your working hours.
