Your territory
As part of our Factory & Tools team, you will:
- Take ownership of a growing set of tools that power our Firmware development and factory workflows — from idea to hands-on implementation
- Act as the product owner for all Firmware tools — identifying next features, prioritizing improvements, and ensuring each tool delivers real value to our teams
- Collaborate with external partners (e.g. on the Factory Test Tool) to keep our production lines running smoothly
- Monitor and analyze KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions
- Own and develop our hardware-in-the-loop setup for Firmware CI/CD — using smart, creative testing approaches to further boost Firmware quality
- Build and maintain test infrastructure to validate tracker performance, streamline processes, and support Firmware reliability
- Collaborate with Firmware, Backend, Tech Support, QA, and external partners while independently driving projects forward
- Bring in your fresh ideas to make Tractive better - you’ll never hear the phrase “...because that’s how we’ve always done things”

Your profile
Key requirements:
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Bash) for integration, automation, and data handling
- Experience with C++ and CI/CD systems (preferably Jenkins)
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills across the stack — from hardware to firmware and factory test software
- Good grasp of agile practices, Git, code reviews, and software quality
- Very good English skills
- Valid work permit for Austria
- Willingness to travel occasionally (1–2 times per year) for factory visits
