Reporting to the Senior Art Team Lead, you will work on our famous IP Dead by Daylight as a Senior Texture Artist. Your role involves technical aspects of texture creation, staying up-to-date with techniques, and having knowledge of Substance Designer and PBR workflow.
In this role you will:
- Organize the texture pipeline, with Technical Art Director, Art Lead and Lighting Artist.
- Work closely with artists to understand environments needs and help them suggesting textures and technics.
- Understand the environments and assets production pipeline.
- Calibration and polish textures to apply them in the world.
- Ensure clear communication with their managers to give visibility to their team and their work.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar position, within the gaming industry.
- Good ability to use Substance Designer.
- Knowledge of Unreal 5.
- Proficiency in the PBR process.
- Solid understanding of image and composition (lighting, composition, calibration, rendering).
- Excellent communication skills, adaptability as well as sense of organization and anticipation.
