The team

Come and join a design team on a unique mandate in a genre with high narrative content. We're looking for our Technical Level Designer, to complement our very senior creative team. Each of us contributes more than just our title; we're looking for a colleague with the same broader interest in the project as a whole. We achieve this through our contributions both at high level (management) and directly in the creation of engine content. If you identify with this description, then we need to talk!

What you will do

  • Implementthe level/sub-level structure in collaboration with the programmingteam;
  • Implement game flow and progression;
  • Set-up and implement scripted events, be it timed or trigger-based events;
  • Managethe gameplay and level design assets’ streaming and performance, in collaboration with the Technical Artteam;
  • Optimize and debug game maps, including the optimization of unique gameplay assets, redundancy and cross-reference components;
  • Create technical documentation and champion it within the Game and Level Design team;
  • Author collaboration pipeline, alongside the Technical Directors.

What you bring

  • Experience in a video game studio as Technical Level Designer;
  • Working knowledge of Blueprint system in Unreal Engine and script debugging;
  • Capacity to resolve problems that arise with the tools/scripts;
  • Technical knowledge of video game editors and production workflow;
  • Ability to organize and structure own work;
  • Ability to work in collaboration with the other departments;
  • Ability to work within a team focused on constant improvement;
  • Ability to learn and share knowledge.

Even better if you have

  • Experience in programming (C++, LUA, UnrealScript, etc).
