To meet this challenge, we are looking for a talented Technical Lead Engineer who, as a member of the Foxtrot System Engineering Team at Thales Huizen, is eager to contribute to the realization of this vision.

About your future job
Thales is involved in the technical realization of the vision of the Dutch Defense to establish Information Controlled Operation (The Digital Transformation of the Armed Forces)
As a Technical Lead you orchestrate the engineering activities that are needed to design the technical solution. This means that you develop deep understanding of the product portfolio of the THALES Group, building relations with technical experts and ensuring this knowledge will be available for the realization of the projects.
In summary;
- Monitor & Control Engineering Bid & Demo budget and orchestrate Estimations.
- build relationships with partners who deliver other parts of the system.
- Ensure the engineering processes are used and engineering work products are captured.
Your main tasks are:
- Orchestrate the engineering efforts needed to translate operational needs into a technical solution.
- Look for opportunities to position Thales solutions for the benefit of our customer needs.
- Identify the necessary knowledge & capacity and required budgets to shape solutions.
- Build strong relations with Customer Engineers, Group Competence Centers and Engineering partners.
- Ensure Processes between al engineering partners are aligned and the results documented accordingly.
Why you'd be a good match
- Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a similar field.
- You are a generalist with a keen interest in technology in the broadest sense.
- Proven experience in systems engineering.
- Candidate has great communication skills, and you are able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- You are diligent, creative and have a pro-active attitude.
- You master the English language, Dutch is a strong pre.

- VGB - AIVD-B/MIVD-B screening granted (which we initiate & facilitate).
