About Anvil

The Anvil pipeline is used by thousands of people across multiple productions. With the Anvil One strategy, every improvement benefits all projects. This sharing requires robust automated tests and exemplary development practices.

What you will do

Take technical lead on test automation and promote development excellence: solid architecture, suitable design patterns, and testability-driven code. You will collaborate with the CPI and the Architect to define the vision, deliver reliable solutions, and guide the team towards high standards.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define the automated testing strategy (unit, integration, UI/tools) with a focus on robustness and visibility (metrics, quarantines, CI/CD).
  • Develop in critical areas (C#, C++), optimize performance, and ensure testability from the design phase.
  • Promote best practices: architectural principles, design patterns, code reviews, TDD, and dependency injection.
  • Industrialize validation in the central CI/CD and collaborate with other Anvil domains to strengthen the pipeline.
  • Act as a technical mentor and solve complex problems.

Qualifications

What you bring:

  • 7+ years in software development.

Skills:

  • Advanced C#
  • Good proficiency in C++
  • Understanding of quality processes and CI/CD

Know-how:

  • Software architecture
