About Anvil
The Anvil pipeline is used by thousands of people across multiple productions. With the Anvil One strategy, each improvement benefits all projects. This pooling requires robust automated tests and exemplary development practices.
What you will do
Take the technical lead on test automation and promote excellence in development practices: strong architecture, appropriate design patterns and testability-oriented code. You will collaborate with the CPI and the Architect to define the vision, deliver reliable solutions and guide the team toward high standards.
Main and regular duties of this position:
- Define the automated testing strategy (unit, integration, UI/tools) with a focus on robustness and visibility (metrics, quarantines, CI/CD).
- Develop on critical topics (C#, C++), optimize performance and ensure testability by design.
- Promote best practices: architecture principles, design patterns, code reviews, TDD and dependency injection.
- Industrialize validation in the central CI/CD and collaborate with other Anvil domains to harden the pipeline.
- Act as a technical mentor and resolve complex problems.
Qualifications
What you bring
- 7+ years in software development.
Skills:
- Advanced C#
- Good level in C++
- Understanding of quality processes and CI/CD
