Your mission as our Technical Compliance Specialist (Sportsbook) Hero will be to:
- Assist with queries regarding technical compliance requests.
- Support certification and audit processes across several jurisdictions as needed.
- Facilitate planning and direction around requesting new/modified technical compliance features.
- Test new product versions to ensure compliance with certified regulations.
- Create, review and amend technical compliance policies to ensure they are up to date with all relevant rules, laws and regulations and that proper procedures are in place.
- Perform internal audits to verify proper implementation and operation of compliance measures in certified environments.
- Ensure the company remains compliant with all relevant technical regulations in the current certifications.
- Investigate technical requirements for new markets and conduct gap assessments.
- Learn about new products and technologies to advise on compliant applications.
- Develop and provide training materials for general staff on efficient usage and best practices in regulated markets.
- Support the Legal team with the gaming authorities and clients for all kinds of analysis on technical questions and doubts.
Your superpowers:
- 5+ years of experience in providing legal advice to companies related to the gaming industry.
- Experience in the following jurisdictions: Malta, Spain, Greece, Romania, UK.
- Experience in betting verticals: Sportsbook, aggregator, casino and virtuals.
- Good understanding of Sportsbook and Betting Platform.
- Knowledge in Compliance and Project Management.
- Communication skills and the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy and precision.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
