Senior Technical Artist

Reports to :Art Technical Director

Permanent – Full-Time

What you will do

  • Develop new techniques and processes to address challenges related to the creation and optimization of the game’s visual aspect;
  • Accurately document processes and procedures;
  • Provide technical direction and instructions to other artists.

Whatyoubring

  • College or university diploma in 2D and 3D Art and/or any equivalent training;
  • 6 years or more of experience as a real-time 3D Artist (Level Artist, Modeler, Texture Artist);
  • Knowledge of Unreal Engine;
  • Good knowledge and experiencewithnode-basedShaders, VFX, and Lighting;
  • Good knowledge of the following programs: Photoshop, Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, Houdini ,an asset;
  • Knowledge of HLSL, an asset;
  • Knowledge of profiling (PIX, real-time 3D constraints, hardware), anasset;
  • Knowledge of scripting/programming languages (C#, C++, Python, .Net, Mel, etc.), an asset;
  • Havingdelivered a AAA project,an asset.

  • Have good communication skills to clearly express ideas;
  • Be focused on achieving outstanding results;
  • Possess strong analytical and synthesis skills;
