About The Role

As a Technical Administrator, Wholesale Exports you will support the business to achieve our ambitious growth plans across Wholesale Exports. The Technical Administrator position is an intrinsic part of the Wholesale Exports team and will develop relationships with these teams.

At Morrisons we are continuing to drive sales success across the Wholesale Exports sectors. We are increasing the range of products we export and supplying products in bulk to customers, including those operating in the hospitality and food service sectors.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the business to achieve our ambitious growth plans across Wholesale Exports. The Technical Administrator position is an intrinsic part of the Wholesale Exports team and will develop relationships with these teams.

Reporting to the Technical Specialist Online & Wholesale  you will need to be capable of working across a wide range of topics and teams, working with subject matter experts within the wider business as required.

Building on strong foundations, we have ambitious plans to grow our export business beyond the countries currently supplied. The role will therefore support the relationship with external Supplier and Customer technical personnel, collating and providing supplier and product information including specification data, artwork and certification that is required to facilitate export operations to a range of destinations.

Accordingly, having or being able to develop an awareness of the legal requirements of destination markets and ensuring that the technical information and documentary needs of customers are serviced is a key aspect of the role.

  • Experience of working in a technical / regulatory / compliance setting
  • An awareness of the export requirements of a range of destination markets is desirable
  • Experience of working within a Retail or similar head office environment would be an advantage but not essential
  • Great analytical skills - we use Google Workspace
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities
  • Ability to work on own initiative within defined parameters
  • Clear and concise communication skills
