What you’ll do
This is a part time position (3 days a week).
The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax affairs for Mambu globally, including Mambu’s tax position, transfer pricing, tax compliance and reporting. This role will involve collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across finance, legal, and the business to ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations whilst creating an environment for the business to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in international tax and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The role reports to the Head of Tax, Treasury and Business Operations. Key responsabilities will include:
- Develop and implement global tax policies in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain the transfer pricing policy and TP documentation
- Manage the company's tax compliance processes and tax reporting
- Ad-hoc advisory to the business in relation to tax matters, including corporate income tax, transfer pricing, VAT, withholding tax, wage tax etc
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide tax guidance and support for business initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and international expansion
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company's tax policies remain current and effective
- Coordinate with tax advisors and tax authorities during audits and examinations to ensure accurate and timely responses to inquiries
What you’ll bring
- Master degree in taxation
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in international tax
- Strong knowledge of international tax principles and tax laws and regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax issues and provide practical solutions
- Hands-on mentality, eager to ensure tax policies are implemented and maintained
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
