Tax Accountant

Scope and Purpose

Join a human-sized structure within a leading investment bank, which deals with complex and demanding issues while maintaining an agile and streamlined organisation.

In this context, we are looking for an experienced tax accountant capable of handling all the tax aspects of our business in France and assisting with accounting matters.

As part of a dynamic team of 5 people, you will report to the head of accounting and will be responsible for:

  • Be in charge of tax returns (IS, CVAE, CFE, C3S, VAT / VAT recovery ratio, DADS, DES, ...)
  • Manage the associated tax issues while improving the tax process
  • Participate in the accounting processes and production of monthly reports to the Head Office in Italy
  • Contribute to the accounting supervision works (control of fees related to financing operations, daily controls, outstanding reconciliation, …)
  • Be involved in projects such as the e-invoicing/e-reporting project
  • Contribute to the back-up process and the update of operating procedures

This position is ideal for a candidate who is curious, rigorous and eager to understand banking issues within a constantly evolving organisation.

Required Experience

3-5 years, ideally in the banking sector

Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge

  • Master degree (or equivalent qualification)
  • Knowledge of tax and accounting principles (IFRS and French-Gaap)
  • French language
  • English language
  • Familiar with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
