This Opportunity

Our Toronto location is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our team. Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the successful candidate will be a key player in managing our Microsoft hybrid ecosystem, driving system performance and ensuring top-tier security standards. With your expertise, you will guide other team members on shaping the best practices for a seamless and secure infrastructure.

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee, design, manage and troubleshoot all aspects of Microsoft hybrid ecosystem (on-premises and Entra/Azure).
  • Design, implement and troubleshoot group policies.
  • Design, implement and provide guidance for all Intune operations.
  • Oversee Azure DevOps services and provide guidance to the developer group.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Collaborate with and guide other system administrators on project implementation.
  • Provide guidance and assist with Help Desk tickets.
  • Provide guidance and advisory on Microsoft best practices and security practices for both on-premise and cloud operations.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum of 7 years in a Microsoft system administrator role in hybrid environments, with at least 4 years of Azure management experience.
  • Proficiency in Group Policy, PowerShell, and Active Directory/Entra.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, AZ-104, MS-100, MS-101) are a plus.
