The Opportunity:
Would you be interested in working for one of the world’s top 20 insurance companies? QBE is looking for 3 Student Workers to join our Nordic Underwriting team in Copenhagen.
You will be part of an ambitious team based in Stockholm and Copenhagen, where cross-border collaboration is at the heart of what we do. As a Student Worker, your primary role will be to support our underwriters in various tasks. We work across multiple insurance lines, providing tailored solutions for diverse industries, including technology, financial institutions, and life sciences. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and international environment.
We do not expect you to have any experience within the insurance industry, we believe in developing our students and will teach you everything you need to know. As you grow, you will gain more responsibility, have more influence on your tasks and perhaps be a part of client-facing meetings.
Your responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-underwriting and preparing materials for underwriters
- Preparation of quotes for brokers and clients
- Registration in internal systems
- Issuing of certificates
- Creating of renewal packs and renewal of policies
Your qualities:
- An analytical approach
- A willingness to obtain new skills
- Good command of English and fluent in one Scandinavian language
- Knowledge of MS Office and Affinity for IT systems and processes
- Adaptable in a sometimes fast past environment
- High degree of reliability and quick comprehension
- Studying at the second year of a relevant bachelor (e.g. HA(jur.), jura, HA Almen, IT, from CBS, University of Copenhagen or IT University

Working hours will be 15-20 hours a week and will be planned within normal office hours according to your schedule.
