Scope and Purpose
• Support the origination, evaluation, credit process, closing and monitoring of project finance transactions with a focus on financing energy, oil & gas, infrastructure as well as selective real estate transactions • Execute transactions, providing structuring, modelling, administration, and negotiating support to originators • Direct Responsibility for actively monitoring and supervising Project Finance assets • Manage/Monitor portfolio activities, performing credit review, waiver & amendment processing, or any other aspect of portfolio administration • Manage & Administer non-relationship credit portfolios • Compose Credit Applications and interact with credit and loan administration departments • Oversee Asset Recovery Portfolio via: o Liaise with U.S. domestic and foreign legal counsel to improve recovery rate o Monitor and report on quarterly basis or when status and progress of recovery efforts is needed/requested o Administer disposition of loan recoveries • Perform related duties assigned by Business Director and/or the Head of Department, and participate in special projects as required
The salary range for this job offer would be $ 140,000 - $ 220,000
Required Experience
• 8 years experience in project finance transactions, including due diligence, Credit Analysis, Execution, documentation and Administration • Practical knowledge of financial products, Finance, Accounting, and documentation • Exceptional Management and Administrative skills • Proficient with MS Office Suite including MS Word, Excel and the Internet • Team-oriented personality
Competencies Required
• Extensive background in Credit Analysis and Financial Modelling • Thorough knowledge of financial products, Finance, Accounting, and documentation. • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to deal with a wide variety of internal staff and external counterparts • Ability to analyze and conduct independent due diligence of transactions, plus identify industry/market trends
Required Qualifications, Skills and Knowledge
• Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting; MBA a plus • Strong Credit, Analytical and Financial Modelling skills • Formal Credit Training, a plus
